West Indies vs Australia 2nd Match Prediction Who Will Win 05 June 2016
Trending news in cricket is about Australia and South Africa in West Indies for a 10 match Tri-Series. Last time South Africa had toured Caribbean was in 2010. This triangular ODI series is believed to be scheduled just a year before the next very important and major tournament.
Surprisingly, this series has day-night games. So, many cricket fans are not happy as they are more likely to sleep and unlikely to watch anything more than the starting hour of the game. But, this doesn’t mean anything less, as the pressure is still there on players. South African coach states that almost everything is at stake for him and he is also working hard to retain his place. Moreover, major pace bowlers are also not there for support so the things can get tough for South Africa.
Dale Steyn was rested for this series so that he could prepare for the upcoming Test series but surprisingly he chose to play T20 cricket instead. So, the bowling attack will be in hands of Morne Morkel, Kagiso Rabada and Kyle Abbott. There are not a lot of expectations from spinners but it will be exciting to see how it goes. Batting line-up is the one thing which South Africa is confident about, with world class players such as AB de Villiers, Hashim Amla and Quinton de Kock, who have a lot of responsibilities on their shoulders.
On the other hand West Indies is not in a good state at all. They sure are happy for the recent World T20triumph but they are in constant danger of being thrown out from their House party. Fans are very unhappy because of the strict selection policy of picking players because of which players like Chris Gayle, Andre Russell, Dwayne Bravo and Darren Sammy are left out of the team. But, it is good to see Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine back in team for at least the first four matches.
Moreover, the last match One day international played by West Indies was nearly seven months ago, which they lost to Sri Lanka. So, the stats show that it is a very difficult situation for West Indies. Another disappointment was to lose the two recent warm-up matches against Barbados Select XI. Obviously, you can blame the absence of captain and couple of other major players who were playing at the IPL.
David Warner is all boosted up after his IPL win and he deserves it because of all the effort had put. Cricket Experts believe Australia is in a strong position at this point. It will be really interesting to see the West Indies vs. Australia, 2nd Match. Surprisingly, Australia has no batsman in the top 10 ICC rankings but they have occupied all the batting slots from 14 to 18 with Glen Maxwell being the highest-ranked batsman in the 14th position. The Final of the series will be held on June 26 at Kensington Oval.
